Mibro Air Smartwatch: A well-designed affordable wearable by Xiaomi Ecosystem
It’s the latest smartwatch made by the Zhenshi Technology brand. It’s also one of the most affordable ones. The fact that the brand is a part of the forked Xiaomi ecosystem is what really caught our attention. With help from Xiaomi, the Mibro Air watch will come out in November at a price that most people can afford.
Before the brand’s official launch, we were lucky enough to get a review unit from the company. So let’s look at what makes this Mibro Air watch stand out.
Design & Interface
The Mibro Air smartwatch is made of metal, which gives it a much higher-quality feel than other watches in the same price range. The small metal body has a 42mm dial and feels very smooth to the touch. It won’t get scratched easily, though. Also, the metal body doesn’t make the weight feel too heavy. Even with the band, the slim watch weighs only 40g and is no more than 9.2mm thick, making it one of the lightest metal smartwatches we’ve looked at. The small watch has an IP68 rating, which means it can handle rain, sweat, and water splashes from washing your hands or taking a shower.

The Mibro Air’s display is a 1.28-inch round dial with a TFT high-resolution (240 x 240 Pixels) color screen and a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio. There are several watch faces that come with the watch. You can switch between watch faces by pressing the dial for a long time. In addition to the default backgrounds, you can also choose a picture to use as the background for your own dial watch face. All you have to do is download their Mibro Fit app and put the picture you like on the watch.
Features & Mibro Fit App
As a smartwatch, it’s very important to have features that focus on fitness, such as tracking sports. The Mibro Air has up to 12 common sports modes, including outdoor/indoor running, walking, football, badminton, tennis, cycling, hiking, basketball, elliptical machine, yoga, and free training. In real life, most of the activities that were chosen could be tracked well, including steps, distance, and calories. In addition to these common sports features, this cheap watch can also measure your heart rate, which is a great feature. It has a heart rate sensor that helps measure the values in real-time and lets the user know if their workout isn’t going as planned. Some smartwatches can’t accurately measure a person’s heart rate if they have dark skin, but the company behind the new watch says it has developed a precise heart rate algorithm to fix this problem.
In addition to being able to record sports, the Mibro Air can also track how well the user sleeps every night and give a full report on the user’s phone app. Because it is so light, you won’t feel any discomfort when you wear it to bed. You can also set alarms that make the phone shake.
All of the above features can be set up in their Mibro Fit App, which is unique to them. Once the user connects to the watch, they can see at a glance how their health data is syncing in real-time on their phone. Or, you can use the app to change the watch’s settings, like making it light up when you raise your wrist, turn on the sedentary reminder, or make it vibrate so you can find it.

When you turn on the app’s camera feature, you can shake the watch to control the phone’s camera shutter. It frees up both of your hands, which is a smarter way to take pictures remotely than other watches that require you to use another finger to click a button on the watch.
Battery life
The Mibro Air uses a new Bluetooth chip that uses less power, so the battery lasts for a long time. It comes with a 200mAh battery, but you can use it for up to 10 days straight on a single charge, or it can stay on standby for 25 days. With Bluetooth 5.0, you can sync your devices in real-time and connect to your phone easily. During daily use, it’s easy to get notifications from apps like phone calls, texts, WhatsApp, Messenger, Skype, Gmail, and more on the watch. The Mibro Air can already be pre-ordered at a discount on its official store. Also, in November, the brand is giving away another free dark green strap and another $3 coupon code to get more early buyers. If you want a smartwatch that won’t break the bank, you can find out more about prices and discounts on their official page.
